As part of the ongoing process towards Ireland’s first OGP National Action Plan, two meetings took place with members of civil society and officials from the Department of Justice and Equality and the Department of the Environment, Community and Local Government. The focus of these meetings was civil society’s action plan proposals.
Meetings Schedule
4th April 2014 – Meeting with Department of Environment, Community and Local Government to discuss the Aarhus Convention and citizen participation in decision making.
9th April 2014 – Meeting with Department of Justice and Equality to discuss the United Nations Convention Against Corruption and the Programme for Government commitment to reform the Official Secrets Act.
